Thanks to the solutions designed by Nowy Styl brands you can safely visit airport terminals and hotels even during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this episode of Make Your Space Again we are talking to Kusch+Co and Stylis representatives about social distance and hygienic aspect.
Is it safe to travel by plane or stay at a hotel? – this is the most popular question asked by all those who are planning a business trip or a vacation. The answer is: yes, at least if you use one of the airport terminals furnished and arranged by Kusch+Co and choose to stay at a hotel with the interior design by Stylis.
Kusch+Co, a world-famous German manufacturer of furniture and equipment for airport terminals, launched a special belt for separating some of the seats and accomplished it within just a few weeks of the outbreak of the pandemic. Other products with the same function include plexiglass partition walls attached between the seats. In an interview with Olimpia Ajakayie, who runs the cycle titled Make Your Space Again, focused on space arrangement in the wake of the pandemic, Ingmar Krupp, Head of the Transport Department at Kusch+Co says that these products are only a temporary solution, though: - In the nearest future the industry will have to come up with an idea how to reorganise passenger service in the airports, so as to ensure greater social distance. As experts in solutions designed for terminals, we want to be part of this discussion and offer our assistance and experience.
In the hotels furnished by Stylis, a company based in Dubai, there was no need for drastic changes. - Of course, in the shared areas – such as hotel lobby or restaurant – greater distance between guests was secured, but when coming up with furniture supplied to the rooms, we always used materials with top hygienic properties and we focused on minimalist design, which makes it considerably easier to keep the space clean and safe – says Michał Wilczyński, sales and marketing director at Stylis. - For older hotels, whose equipment and arrangement cannot guarantee such safety level, the pandemic should be an impulse for modernisation – he adds. One of such modernisation projects is currently being completed by specialists from Stylis in Sharjah, where one of the oldest and most famous hotels in the United Arab Emirates – Hotel Holiday International – is undergoing a complete face-lift.
We would like to invite you to watch the whole interview.
